Wood engraving means text, a drawing or a logo burnt into your wooden item with a laser. We engrave wood with a CO₂ laser: the surface darkens, so the engraving looks natural and does not rub off.
We most often engrave chopping boards, wooden boxes, tankards, spoons, birch-bark tubes and signs. Contrast depends on the wood: on light wood (birch, maple) the text is sharpest, on dark wood it is subtler.

How to order
- Order online. Enter your text in the form and attach a logo or layout if needed. You can also email the file to lasermark.shop@gmail.com.
- Hand over the item. Bring it to our office in Vilnius (Fabijoniškių g. 99) or in Kaunas (Savanorių pr. 271) or send it by parcel locker. Please call before coming: Vilnius +370 603 55354, Kaunas +370 601 52245.
- We engrave. In the office it usually takes about 1 hour – you can wait and take it with you. Items sent by post are engraved within 1 working day of arrival.
- Collect it. In the office, or we send it back by parcel locker or courier. The customer pays shipping both ways.
If you tick “I want to see the mock-up” in the form, we send it for approval before engraving. This adds 1 working day.

Frequently asked questions
Can you engrave varnished wood?
Usually yes: the laser removes the varnish and burns the wood. We check how the particular varnish behaves before we start.
What colour will the engraving be on wood?
Brown – the laser darkens the wood. On light wood the text has the most contrast.
Can you engrave a chopping board that is already in use?
Yes. The text stays in the wood and does not wash off, but please clean and dry the board before bringing it.
How much does it cost to engrave a logo on 100 wooden spoons?
Quantities like this are priced individually by working time, from €5 per item – see logo engraving for companies.
Turnaround time
At our Vilnius or Kaunas office a simple order is usually done in 30–60 minutes – you can wait on site. Please call before coming.
Items sent via a parcel locker are usually engraved within 1 working day of receipt. The customer pays shipping both ways.
