Knife engraving means a name, motto, date or unit name laser-engraved on the blade or handle of your knife. An engraved knife is a gift for a soldier, hunter, angler or collector and a keepsake of service or a trip.
We engrave blades with a fibre laser: on a black-coated knife the text comes out light, on polished steel dark. Wooden or leather handles are engraved with a CO₂ laser. Only the surface is marked, so the knife cuts just as before.

One knife costs €20. Military units or clubs ordering several knives with the same text are priced by working time.

How to order
- Order online. Enter your text in the form and attach a logo or layout if needed. You can also email the file to lasermark.shop@gmail.com.
- Hand over the item. Bring it to our office in Vilnius (Fabijoniškių g. 99) or in Kaunas (Savanorių pr. 271) or send it by parcel locker. Please call before coming: Vilnius +370 603 55354, Kaunas +370 601 52245.
- We engrave. In the office it usually takes about 1 hour – you can wait and take it with you. Items sent by post are engraved within 1 working day of arrival.
- Collect it. In the office, or we send it back by parcel locker or courier. The customer pays shipping both ways.
If you tick “I want to see the mock-up” in the form, we send it for approval before engraving. This adds 1 working day.

Frequently asked questions
Will engraving damage the blade?
No. The laser affects only a thin surface layer, so the strength and sharpness of the knife stay the same.
Can you engrave a black-coated knife?
Yes. The laser removes the black coating, so the text comes out light and high-contrast.
Can I send a knife by post?
Yes. Pack the knife securely and send it via parcel locker – we engrave it within 1 working day of arrival and send it back.
What is usually engraved on military knives?
A name, unit name, years of service or a motto. The text can be in any language.
Turnaround time
At our Vilnius or Kaunas office a simple order is usually done in 30–60 minutes – you can wait on site. Please call before coming.
Items sent via a parcel locker are usually engraved within 1 working day of receipt. The customer pays shipping both ways.
