Handwriting, drawing or fingerprint engraving means a real trace of a person transferred onto your item with a laser: a line handwritten by a loved one on a card or letter, a child’s drawing or a fingerprint. Handwriting is engraved exactly as it was written, so the item recalls a particular person, not just their name.
The price is €30 per item: €20 for engraving and €10 for preparing the image. We clean up the photographed or scanned text, drawing or print, remove the paper background and adapt it for the laser. If you ask in the form, we send a mock-up for approval before engraving.

We engrave metal pendants and key rings, the inside of rings, bottles and thermoses, watch case backs, wooden signs and other items. As in the example: a child’s drawing with a signature and a short line on a bottle. Rings are accepted only at our Vilnius office or by post. Photos of faces and pets are a separate service – see photo engraving.

How to prepare the file
- Handwriting – photograph or scan the text on white paper in good light, without shadows.
- Drawing – photograph or scan it on a white sheet without shadows; bold lines engrave more clearly than faint ones.
- Fingerprint – press your finger on an ink pad, then on white paper, and scan or photograph it close up.
How to order
- Order online. Enter your text in the form and attach a logo or layout if needed. You can also email the file to lasermark.shop@gmail.com.
- Hand over the item. Bring it to our office in Vilnius (Fabijoniškių g. 99) or in Kaunas (Savanorių pr. 271) or send it by parcel locker. Please call before coming: Vilnius +370 603 55354, Kaunas +370 601 52245.
- We engrave. In the office it usually takes about 1 hour – you can wait and take it with you. Items sent by post are engraved within 1 working day of arrival.
- Collect it. In the office, or we send it back by parcel locker or courier. The customer pays shipping both ways.
If you tick “I want to see the mock-up” in the form, we send it for approval before engraving. This adds 1 working day.

How do I send a fingerprint?
Press your finger on an ink pad, then on white paper, and scan or photograph it close up. Attach the file in the order form.
Can you engrave the handwriting of a loved one who has passed away?
Yes. Photograph the letter or card – we cut out the line or signature you want and engrave it exactly as written.
Can you engrave a child’s drawing?
Yes. Photograph or scan the drawing on a white sheet – we turn it into a single-colour image and engrave it. We can add the child’s name or signature next to it, as in the example.
Will the drawing and handwriting be in colour?
No. A laser engraves a single-colour image, so we convert a colour drawing or handwriting to one colour.
Can you engrave handwriting or a fingerprint inside a ring?
Yes, on the inside of the ring, if the chosen handwriting or print fits. Rings are accepted only at our Vilnius office or by post.
Will I see how it looks before engraving?
Yes. Tick “I want to see the mock-up” in the form and we send it for approval. This adds 1 working day.
Can you engrave a photo?
Yes, that is a separate service – photo engraving, €30.
Turnaround time
At our Vilnius or Kaunas office a simple order is usually done in 30–60 minutes – you can wait on site. Please call before coming.
Items sent via a parcel locker are usually engraved within 1 working day of receipt. The customer pays shipping both ways.
